SUPPER CIRCLES
LOVELIGHT is seeking people to host a dinner in their home to tell people more about our outreach work in South Africa. We will not be doing our usual benefit concert with Francois LeRoux this year, because he is not doing his annual tour. Instead we are offering small group fun supper evenings to raise awareness and support for this amazing on-going work. Folks at Unity Church of the Hills are assisting with the organization of Lovelight. A volunteer workbook is underway and almost ready. It will offer all of the info needed to help you make a decision about volunteering in South Africa and what a trip entails.
We are working to get our emailing and website updating underway to assist you to learn all you want to know about volunteer outreach. We have been operating on a shoestring and MOST of the funds we raise go to the projects in South Africa. The Light Center is an all-volunteer organization and as such, welcomes you to be involved! Not everyone can travel to S.A., but everyone can find a way to be involved! |
